TEEN - Jennifer Neal Colyer Health & Fitness Essay Award - $250 Scholarship

The Health & Fitness Essay Award is a $250 scholarship, sponsored by former Local titleholder, Jennifer Neal Colyer, in recognition of the importance of health, fitness, and wellness in daily living.

Eligibility to Apply:
Class of 2025 Miss Iowa's Teen Contestants

Submission Requirements: One page, single-sided essay of not more than 500 words answering the following questions (submitted as a PDF):

How do you define Health and Fitness?
What are your personal initiatives to focus on healthy living?
What are your goals or intended messages as a potential health and fitness ambassador for our State program/Miss America system?

Award recipient will be selected by sponsor, Jennifer Neal Colyer, through blind-judging. The names and titles of applicants will NOT be included in the judging submission.

Judging criteria:
Creativity, originality, and quality of writing
Personal commitment to the promotion of healthy living
Display of leadership and character
